Invoice Processing and Verification Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation. Verify invoice accuracy (vendor details, invoice, number, amounts, tax rates) Ensure invoices match purchase orders and receiving reports (three-way matching) Ensure timely and accurate posting of AP transactions in the accounting system applying proper GL coding and cost center allocation Payment Processing and Reconciliations Prepare payment runs Ensure payments are approved according to internal control policies Send payment notification to vendors after payments are processed Record payments in the accounting system Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues Reconcile accounts payable balances with general ledger balances Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and vendor information File and organize documents.
