We are looking for a highly talented Senior Manager, External Reporting (APAC) to join our regional team in Manila, the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience in accounting, be well-versed in SAP systems and IFRS standards, have track records both as a significant individual contributor and strong team player - comfortable working as a leader, supporting teams, and working closely with the management teams to drive strategic initiatives forward across the region. Responsibilities: Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in the APAC region in compliance with IFRS and Group Reporting Policies. Work closely with relevant stakeholders across the region and Group. Review and monitor actual financial results of all the regional entities, including but not limited to key financial ratios, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. Provide guidance to the country Finance teams in the APAC region on accounting matters, as necessary, and resolve any accounting and reporting issues that may arise. Serve as the subject matter expert pertaining to IFRS and Group Reporting Policy and keep up-to-date with any amendments or updates to the Standards. Lead the periodic regional review of compliance with Group Reporting Policies and Controlling Guidelines, identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations. As a subject matter expert in accounting, to partner with cross-functional teams in the region for any projects, initiatives or resolve any issues or business case. Collaborate / align with controlling, FP&A and Group teams on accounting, cost and revenue treatments to ensure compliance with IFRS reporting and Group Financial Reporting Policies. Monitor KPIs, highlight trends and communicate any causes of unexpected variances. Gather, analyze, and disseminate meaningful financial data throughout the organization to assist in management's decision-making abilities. Continually automate, streamline, and improve current reporting, operational and accounting processes to improve business efficiency in the region. Support overall goals and objectives of Group and Regional Accounting teams. Handle other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time. Requirements: CA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification in Finance. At least 12-15 years in finance and accounting roles, with experience in Big Four accounting firms highly preferred. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in IFRS reporting, SAP system, advanced Excel and internal controls. Advanced analytical reasoning and communication skills. Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people at all levels throughout an organization in a multi-country environment. Ability to present and translate complex financial information, and educate non-finance managers. Ability to work well under pressure and independent, conscientious, hands-on, self-driven and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving. Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment. Background in fast-paced, technology environments will be a plus.
