
Senior Finance Manager (Onsite, Makati)

- Supervise and validate the monthly management reports, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and relevance for executive use.
- Deliver high-level financial analyses, forecasts, and cash flow management.
- Present financial insights and trends clearly and concisely to top management.
- Establish department SOPs, internal calendars, KPIs, and quality control checklists to ensure that outputs (reports, compliance, payables, etc.) are consistent and punctual.
- Supervise the Finance Manager in her execution of accounting, payroll, tax, and compliance operations.
- Lead weekly Finance Team check-ins and quarterly performance reviews.
- Mentor and support the Finance Manager in team leadership, delegation, and communication.
- Provide direct supervision of newly hired bookkeepers and accounting assistants to increase retention, clarity, and efficiency.
- Identify training needs, communication gaps, and propose improvements in the team’s working methods.
- Strengthen and monitor internal controls, including document workflow, expense approvals, and segregation of duties.
- Ensure audit readiness, policy compliance, and completeness of financial documentation.
- Propose and oversee automation or process improvement projects, in coordination with IT/HR.
- Work closely with top executives on budgeting, expansion plans, cost modeling, and ad hoc financial studies.
- Support long-term planning with business cases and sensitivity analyses.
- Advise on the financial implications of new products, partnerships, or ventures.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) required
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
- Background in financial reporting, controls, and team management.
- Strong business acumen and experience working directly with senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (can polish and translate technical info into executive summaries).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Familiarity with accounting systems and the ability to leverage technology to automate tasks.

- Preferred Industry Experience (highly advantageous but not required) : Background in luxury sectors, such as high-end hotels, wellness and spa services, or premium food and beverage establishments.
