The Opportunity The Senior Production Planner at Allegro is a pivotal role within the manufacturing and supply chain operations, primarily focused on optimizing production flow, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing material movement to meet weekly manufacturing commitments. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proactive communication to keep production lines running smoothly and efficiently. The primary objective of a Senior Production Planner is to meticulously manage and optimize the manufacturing schedule to ensure that production targets are met, materials are available, and finished goods are delivered on time. This involves precise planning, continuous monitoring, and quick problem-solving to maintain high levels of manufacturing performance and efficiency. What You Will Do Ensures 100% actual moves to FG performance against weekly manufacturing capacity. Ensures a high percentage of cycle time performance every week. Prepares daily machine loadings and allocations aligned with weekly commitment. Responsible in squeezing in lots for urgent shipment, engineering samples and pilot lots. Sends lot starts planned weekly commitment, possible misses, possible performance and weekly FG performance and analysis Sends status on critical devices, hot lots and line down situations daily. Sends a daily quick peek FG update for all product/device family and FG projection for the week. Identify critical issues affecting the weekly FG projection. Monitors and expedites lots according to planned completion dates. Sends reasons for overdue lots and provide new planned completion dates. Checks lots at WIP both at test & backend and follow-up with support groups to expedite disposition for non-moving lots. Knowledgeable of Oracle and its functions. Familiar with the product routes, operations and manipulations of Oracle functions. Uses the lot start release report and the Planned Order Report for reference for weekly planning, allocation and prioritization.
