- Lead and oversee planning activities for Commercial and Public sectors, including supervision of existing planners.
- Collaborate with local plant managers to optimize planning and inventory control processes.
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle systems, resolving transactional issues and supporting UAT testing.
- Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to issue and manage POs related to new product launches.
- Continuously improving planning processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in planning, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procurement processes.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across departments and with diverse teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Leadership: Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in planning, data management, and reporting.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in international business environments.
- Must have a desire to provide the customer with high quality products, on time, every time.
- Understand and actively demonstrate the principles of HID Global customer centricity policy.
- The home office must be a well-defined work area, separate from normal domestic activity and complete with all essential technology including, but not limited to; separate phone, scanner, printer, computer, internet, etc. as required in order to effectively perform their duties.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable HID Global policies and procedures, including those related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. The employee must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid passport.
