Job Overview:
The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's websites, including our Shopify store and other online platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms. This role requires strong technical skills and a passion for creating user-friendly, visually appealing, and high-performing websites.Key Responsibilities:

Designed, developed, and maintained the company’s websites, including Shopify store and other web properties.
Customize and optimize Shopify themes and templates to match the company's branding and business needs.
Implement new features, plugins, and integrations to enhance the functionality and performance of the websites.
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create and optimize user experiences and customer journeys.
Ensure all websites are fully responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible across different devices and browsers.
Perform ongoing website maintenance, including troubleshooting and fixing bugs, ensuring up-to-date security patches, and backups.
Monitor website performance and use analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct A/B testing to optimize website elements and improve conversion rates.
Work closely with the content team to ensure all content is optimized for SEO and adheres to best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify development and customization.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation strategies.
Familiarity with web design principles and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce or Magento.
Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, or Python.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services.
