The successful (OMC) candidate provides management, administrative, and technical interface with Government personnel in the day-to-day accomplishment of support services.The work environment:Location: National Capital Region (NCR) Washington, DCType of environment: OfficeWork schedule: CONUS Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday.RESPONSIBILITIES·Provide Monthly Status Report that captures or summarizes completed tasks, staffing status, financials (to include labor, travel, and equipment ODC funds), and any issues/challenges encountered.·Provide Project planning and facilitate implementation of government-approved projects.·Participate in authorized on-site meetings; prepare and present briefings on progress of work, prepare white papers and draft responses to IT-related data calls, as requested by the Government Task Monitors.·Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify collaborative responsibilities and support process interaction with other Government and contractor IT groups.·Present SOPs to the Government Task Monitors for review and approval prior to implementation.·Coordinates with OMC personnel to develop necessary documents with respect to projects.·Provides OMC customers with responsive, flexible Management support on issues relating to personnel, coordination, logistics, maintenance, performance, project management, quality control, and evaluation issues.·Manages and oversees all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.·Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverable.·Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Possesses strong knowledge of technology.·A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.· Understanding of CDRL’s, report generation, formatting, and response requirements and capable of producing this documentation independently.·Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities.Education & Experience:The candidate must meet the below experience requirements:
  • 7+ years related technical experience with Microsoft Administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting.
  • 4+ years of experience working tasks of similar size and scope, with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment.
  • 4+ years of experience with the following IT disciplines: security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10 and/or Windows 11, Microsoft SCCM or similar technologies, maintaining PKI infrastructure, implementing and managing VDI infrastructure, and server Virtualization Technologies.
  • Preferred; 3 years’ experience with Vormetric data encryption solutions.
  • Must Be IAT III
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Must have the Required Computing Environment Certifications listed below:
·VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AND one of the following:·Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Core Infrastructure, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with the DOD Architecture Framework and other key DOD network architecture and strategic planning instructions.
  • Installation, operations, and maintenance of the below products and services:
-Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2/2016.-Server Virtualization Technologies-Microsoft SCCM-Backup Solutions (such as CommVault, Veritas, etc.)- Microsoft Active Directory and supporting technology (DNS, Group Policy, etc…)-Maintaining PKI Infrastructure
  • Installation, operations, and maintenance of the below systems infrastructure components:
-Servers & System appliances-NAS/SAN Storage/Tape Backups desirable-VMWare vSphere & vCenter
  • Deploying/managing/optimizing servers in virtualized (VMWare) environment. g. Developing & utilizing PowerShell scripts.
  • Utilizing change and configuration management processes and procedures (ITIL)
  • Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
