Fixed Day Shift, Day 1 HMO coverage, 2-week Christmas break What does this role entail The Software QA Engineer is directly responsible for ensuring our client's software platform exceeds customers' expectations for usability, stability & performance. What are the things expected of me Establish new policies and procedures for testing web portal and API products to verify a professional standard of quality and consistency as part of our deployment pipelines Reviewing the current software and recommending improvements that will improve user acceptance or would facilitate test automation What are the proficiencies expected of me 3+ years experience in C# .Net development 3+ years (additional) experience writing Bugs or Work Items for other developers to consume Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 SaaS products including MS Dynamics 365 Understanding of critical concepts in Agile principals and DevOps methodologies Experience working with Azure DevOps for work item management Experience writing Test Cases and defining Test Plans in Azure Dev Ops Experience debugging Websites and API Experience using PostMan or other scriptable Rest API clients Understanding of HTTP transport and HTML page lifecycles Experience monitoring web page and API response times Understanding of the user and device behavioural concepts that drive responsive web page designs Experience writing effective Unit Tests in C# Ability to intuitively interpret or understand intentions from recorded user interaction sessions Experience testing user experiences and identifying issues outside of the scope of documented behaviours Confidence to establish testing regimes and train other team members to participate in testing Experience with automation of user experience testing If you're a talented individual who loves challenges, BE PART OF OUR GROWING TEAM and APPLY NOW!
