General Description: A learning and Development Specialist is assigned to support and coordinate employee development through learning interventions and programs that will boost employee's workplace performance in alliance with the company's core values and mission. She/he will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and coordinating all phases of training interventions. Duties and Responsibilities: She/he will also support the Learning and Development Officer/Lead through accomplishing learning deliverables and execution. Assigned with the creation of Learning and Development marketing and multimedia materials. Identify training needs by evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Able to do administrative and clerical tasks such as training invites, coordination with participants, monitoring/updating trackers, expenses, and liquidations. Create learning materials, handouts, aids, and manuals. Acclimate new hires to the organization and conduct orientation sessions. Support and coordinate external learning providers. Able to generate internal communication of learning promotions and initiatives. Assess training effectiveness to ensure the incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior. Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes. Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development Work Experience Requirement: Knowledge of learning principles. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Proven ability to master the full training cycle. Adequate knowledge of learning management software. Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
