- Daily monitoring of Internet connection, create reports on all bandwidth usages.
- Provides technical support related to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Firewalls, and wireless networking AP’s access points.
- Troubleshoots enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), wireless networking, and voice communications infrastructure/systems including Voice Over IP (VoIP).
- Familiar with diagnostic tools to analyze and monitor the system's technical performance including, but not limited to, speed bandwidth, and capacity.
- Interfaces with technology peers, and support staff to coordinate activities, exchange information, and solve network issues and outages.
- Researches and makes recommendations on products and services related to network systems.
- Creates and maintains documentation -- network configuration; network diagrams, and Method of Procedures (MOP).
- Participates in developing network systems procedures and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems and other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network Administrator/ Specialist.
- The ability to install, configure, and maintain multi-layer switches and routers.
- Knowledge of Firewalls Ubiquity products (UDM pro, PFSENSE, and Fortinet).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of routing and routing protocol BGP.
- Knowledge of protocols such as 802.1x, Spanning Tree, ARP, ICMP, and others.
- Strong interpersonal communication skill.
- Proven ability to work as part of team, also being self-directed and motivated.
