The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kotlin and Android app development, with hands-on experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). You will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience across Android—and potentially across platforms.You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to develop new features, enhance app performance, and help define the future of our mobile technology stack.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using KotlinImplement shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practicesOptimize app performance, responsiveness, and stabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussionsEnsure app security and compliance with platform guidelinesQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in Android app developmentProficiency in Kotlin and Android SDKHands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile data handling best practicesExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Understanding of Google Play publishing processPreferred:Exposure to other cross-platform frameworks like Flutter, React Native, or XamarinFamiliarity with Jetpack Compose and/or Swift (for iOS shared code testing)Experience working in Agile development environmentsKnowledge of CI/CD tools for mobile (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Firebase App Distribution)Understanding of mobile app security, performance tuning, and analytics integrationSoft Skills:Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesSelf-driven with a strong sense of ownershipWillingness to learn and experiment with new tools and technologiesEqual Opportunity Employer
