This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with functional partners and business teams, ensuring operational readiness and effective control design.As a trusted Operations control advisor, you will manage risks and controls for the Asia Pacific region. Your responsibilities include assessing the risk impact of regulatory developments, ensuring operational readiness in new business/change management, and evaluating process/control design effectiveness. You will work closely with Operations teams, Compliance, Audit, and global colleagues within Corporate & Investment Banking Operations.Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted Operations control advisor and first line of defense on the control agenda.
  • Represent Operations interests in control/regulatory initiatives.
  • Execute and implement Operations control priorities and strategy.
  • Lead Operations supervisory management and execution.
  • Manage control and risk governance implementation and reporting.
  • Drive risk mitigation and control remediation across the business.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in risk or audit control.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including experience with pivot tables, macros, and other advanced functions.
  • Familiarity with new digital tools like UiPath and Tableau.
