Key Responsibilities: 1. Academic Operations & Compliance Opening/Closing Procedures: - Ensure the academic center (Venice) is operational during business hours, including managing access, security, and emergency protocols. Quality Assurance: - Implement and audit compliance with Enderun's academic policies, TESOL standards, and corporate training benchmarks. - Conduct monthly classroom observations and submit improvement plans. Resource Management: - Oversee inventory of textbooks, digital tools, and classroom materials. - Maintain a centralized repository of syllabi, course outlines, and teaching aids. 2. Faculty & Staff Management Performance Oversight: - Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for faculty and Academic Coordinators. - Address grievances and mediate conflicts between staff/students. Workforce Planning: - Forecast staffing needs for regular programs and camps. Submit manpower requests to HR 60 days in advance. 3. Program Development & Delivery Curriculum Design: - Approve all syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments for language/corporate programs. - Pilot new courses (e.g., test prep, industry-specific language training) based on market demand. ESL Camp Supervision: Pre-Camp: Finalize teacher assignments, schedules, and materials 30 days prior to camp start. Lead mandatory orientation sessions for camp faculty (policies, safety protocols). During Camp: Monitor daily operations, resolve escalations (e.g., student conduct, staffing gaps). Administer EPT A/B exams and ensure grading compliance. Post-Camp: Deliver a program evaluation report (success metrics, participant feedback) within 10 business days. 4. Stakeholder Coordination Internal Collaboration: - HR: Process faculty contracts, payroll, and disciplinary actions. - Sales Team: Provide program details for marketing; align on student enrollment targets. - Operations: Coordinate classroom setups, IT needs, and material logistics. External Engagement: - Liaise with accreditation bodies (e.g., ISO, TESDA) for program audits. - Partner with corporate clients to customize training content. 5. Reporting & Data Analysis Weekly: Faculty attendance, student issues log, and teacher loading schedules (due Fridays). Monthly: Academic performance dashboards (pass rates, retention metrics); Inventory reconciliation (books, materials) and budget utilization. Ad Hoc: Proposals for new programs, grants, or partnerships. Requirements: Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field. Preferred: Master's degree in Education Leadership or TESOL. Certifications: Teaching license (non-negotiable). TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification. Experience: 3 years in academic management, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Proven track record in ESL program coordination and corporate training development.
