
Self Service Implementation Engineer

- Implementation of self-service products whether a part of a project or a stand-alone (post-implementation). Able to communicate effectively with airport/airline customers where all necessary onboarding information are collected.
- Efficient and timely configuration of airline/airport onto the Amadeus self-service product (e.g. WLA, bag tagger, kiosk, etc) applications
- Develop/prepare test plans, test objectives, and test scripts/cases (either manual or automated) that meet the agreed project scope and delivered according to agreed schedules for the self-service product.
- Execution of test strategy/scripts/scenarios required to validate the solution or configuration on the self-service product.
- Ensure all test results and system defects are documented in agreed Amadeus standards for tracking and future references.
- Provide testing support to the airport/airline customer during the user acceptance testing phase. Capable to analyze and troubleshoot the issues reported.
- Establish, document and manage testing environments, processes and procedures to ensure that all testing is completed within Amadeus standards in a target test environment
- Works in collaboration with the Engineering teams to acquire support in managing, tracking and resolution of issues identified during the internal QA and user acceptance testing phases.
- Initiate, identify and implement improvements to the test process and procedures with the goal of improving quality and efficiency.
- Work on shift rotations (APAC or EMEA/NORAM shift) due to the global range of customers
- Tertiary qualifications in a several relevant Information Technology discipline
- Tourism background will also be considered but with background or interest in technology
- At least 1 year of experience in using Amadeus or exposure in the travel industry
- Knowledge in Airport or Airline Departure Control operations - Customer Management
- Development or Implementation environment or equivalent
- Equivalent work experience with demonstrated extensive experience in delivering testing service
- Exposure in the following: JIRA/Confluence, Project Management, Python, Windows or Unix, SQL
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Client management skills, project management skills
- Amenable to work on a Hybrid Work Setup. Location: BGC, Taguig. Must be flexible with the work schedule.
