Job Description Financial Leadership: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports, highlighting key metrics and trends. Manage cash flow and ensure efficient utilization of financial resources. Accounting And Reporting Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with international accounting standards. Ensure proper maintenance of the general ledger and oversee reconciliation processes. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Treasury Management Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management strategies. Monitor foreign exchange exposure and implement risk management strategies. Support efficient international fund transfers and payments. Mandarin Language Communication Serve as a key liaison between the company and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Conduct financial discussions, negotiations, and presentations in Mandarin. Translate financial documents and reports to/from Mandarin. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their continuous development and performance excellence. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Compliance And Regulatory Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and local tax requirements. Stay updated on relevant financial laws and regulations in both the home and host countries. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. Implement best practices to optimize financial systems and reporting tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance degree is a plus. Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA preferred. Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in financial management, including leadership roles. Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin, with excellent communication skills. Strong understanding of international accounting standards and financial regulations. Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
