- The Demi Chef works under the guidance of the Chef de Partie, assisting with daily tasks, recipe execution, and ensuring smooth service.
- This includes tasks like chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients, as well as preparing components of dishes according to recipes.
- Demi Chefs are involved in the cooking process, ensuring dishes are prepared to the required standards and presented attractively.
- They may be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, vegetables, or desserts) and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Demi Chefs handle food ingredients, ensuring proper storage, freshness, and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Working closely with other kitchen staff, including the Chef de Partie, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitoring the quality of ingredients and cooked dishes to meet the restaurant's standards and customer expectations.
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- At least with experience in Five Star Hotel and Restaurant
