● Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement global
procurement strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals, considering
factors like cost, quality, and risk.
● Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers,
negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure quality and timely
delivery.
● Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze spending, identify cost-saving
opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize procurement costs while
maintaining quality standards.
● Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate favorable contract terms with
suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
● Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation
strategies to minimize disruptions. Team Leadership and Development:
● Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative
and high-performing environment.
● Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations,
and company policies related to procurement. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze procurement data, and report on
performance against targets.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including
finance, operations, and legal,to understand their needs and ensure alignment with
procurement strategies.
● Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry best
practices, and emerging technologies in the procurement field.Skills and Qualifications:
● Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms.
● Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven
decisions.

● Supply Chain Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of supply chain
management principles and best practices. International Trade Knowledge: Familiarity
with international trade regulations and best practices.Education and Work Related Experiences:
● Relevant Degree: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business
administration, or a related field.
● Up-to-date specialist knowledge of legislation, standards, and best practice relevant to
Procurement, as well as an excellent and demonstrable understanding of Supply
Chain Management. A solid understanding of project management processes and
up-to-date knowledge of the legal complexities of public sector-associated
procurement.
● At least 5 years of End-to-end strategic procurement experience
● Experience in creating and implementing new procurement strategies and policies,
with proof of tangible results in an international environment.
● Experience with global supply, complex supplier negotiations, developing/assessing
contractual terms and conditions, and supplier assessment/due diligence.
● Strong stakeholder management ability, demonstrating personal and professional
credibility and integrity.
● Strong commercial awareness, be financially astute, and a good negotiator to obtain
