Zigzag is looking for a CRM Specialist to join our team!About our clientOur client is a performance-driven digital agency focused on retail clients. With their dedicated team of 35 digital natives, they collaborate daily with prestigious clients like Shona Joy, Bed Threads, Assembly Label, Go-To Skincare, and many other leading and emerging retail brands. They seamlessly integrate paid search, social media management, and email marketing to deliver exceptional results. While their main office is in Sydney, part of their team operates interstate or overseas. As their continue to expand, they look forward to welcoming new talent to their Manilla team, that currently consist of 6 Paid Social Specialists.The RoleThey are seeking a CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will create compelling email content, manage subscriber lists, and analyse campaign performance to optimise results. You will report to and provide support to their existing CRM team and managers.Key responsibilities:Campaign Creation
  • Design and execute comprehensive email and sms marketing campaigns across various customer segments, focusing on acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies
  • Email database management including list building, segmentation, and personalisation to maximise deliverability and engagement rates
  • Create compelling email content including subject lines, copy, and HTML templates that align with brand guidelines and drive conversions
  • Monitor email deliverability, manage sender reputation, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Flows/Automations
  • Setup and create Flows briefed in by CRM team which include filters, draft email/SMS messages, time delays, property profile updates
  • Review Flow performance regularly and report back on any insights and optimisations
Optimisations
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and design elements to continuously improve campaign performance
  • Build and optimize automated email sequences including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns
QA/Testing
  • Ensure all email and SMS campaigns and templates are error free
  • Test email templates in Litmus to ensure they render across devices
  • Ensure all email and SMS' flow/campaign messages have valid links, images, fall back alt text
  • Conduct testing on all Flows to ensure correct filters are setup and correct profiles are entering at the right time
  • Conduct testing to ensure dynamic content blocks are setup
General Klaviyo Management
  • Create and build email templates that are designed in Figma (or equivalent) using Klaviyo drag and drop builder
  • Assist with the creation of sign up forms (fly outs, pop ups, embed forms)
  • Review and setup client tech stack integrations in Klaviyo including (but not limited to) Okendo, Yotpo, Elevar, Instant, Customer.AI
  • Segmentation setup support based on purchasing behaviour and email/SMS engagement
Reporting
  • Provide detailed analytics and performance reporting on email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI metrics
About you
  • Minimum 2-3 years of email marketing or digital marketing experience
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in email marketing metrics and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance regulations
  • Experience with marketing automation and customer segmentation strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft engaging email content
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data management
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • You are available starting early (6AM?) to overlap with the Sydney team
