Role Statement The Paraplanner will be responsible for a range of tasks to help the Finance team deliver a timely service to internal and external stakeholders. The core focus is to create and accumulate wealth and work alongside a broad range of clients to devise the most cost-effective financial plan. Key role activities of Paraplanner are: Preparation of Statement of Advice (SOA) based upon information provided by our Planners and Advisors through the fact find, risk profile and recommended strategies. Data feed client information into financial planning software to produce sophisticated projections for SOAs Assisting in research related to investment products, insurance policies, and other financial instruments Assisting in the management of investment portfolios, including researching investment options, preparing investment proposals, and monitoring portfolio performance. Preparing and maintaining financial models, projections, and scenarios to illustrate potential outcomes and recommendations. Assist with scheduling client meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and documenting client interactions. Nice haves of Team Assistant are: Minimum 3+ years' experience in finance and investment services Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field Advanced understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel and experience using financial systems and non-financial systems. e.g., Xero, MYOB, XPlan and CRM XEPPO. Preferably has large ERP system experience. Previous experience in a similar role, working within a team environment, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach with internal and external clients and stakeholders. Demonstrated quality service experience working in an environment with tight timeframes, multiple priorities, while achieving outcomes and key deliverables. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts.
