Role DescriptionPearson is looking for a dynamic sales professional with a strong winning mindset and desire to succeed as the Snr Business Development Executive for the Philippines. As a Snr Business Development Executive, you will drive HED business performance in the Philippines by achieving or exceeding revenue targets and expanding market share. This role is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with institutions by leveraging Pearson product and service solutions to meet educational outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving HED sales revenue in the Philippines by establishing a strategic partnership with institutionsDetermine sales priorities & strategies and develop a business plan for implementing these strategies.Identify and build strategic relationships with key University stakeholders such as Teaching & Learning, IT (technical), Procurement, Educational Designers, Finance, and Library to ensure awareness of Pearson products and services to help grow institutional sales.Develop new accounts and revenue streams through active prospecting through a cold call or social media outreach.Meet or exceed KPIs and financial measurements set by the companyOther responsibilitiesWork in concert with the operations team in the organization to ensure effective and efficient support for customersMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Pearson products, platforms and capabilities.Stay abreast of issues impacting the educational industry and factors influencing the market environment.Perform production/sales forecast/ inventory management for the Higher Education division.Develop and maintain a sales pipeline for all qualified opportunities in OneCRM (salesforce.com)Key competencies required:Bachelor's degree required10 years+ of experience with a successful track record in working with channel partners, bookstores, sales or related customer-facing roles in higher education or a related fieldExperience interfacing with executive management; ability to conduct high-level sales meetings with Deans, Vice-Chancellors and other similar executive levelsStrong networking skills and familiarity with social media selling & prospectingWilling to spend a significant portion of time on field sales activitiesMust be able to communicate fluently in English languages and be a great communicatorWhat to expect from PearsonDid you know Pearson is one of the 10 most innovative education companies of 2022?At Pearson, we add life to a lifetime of learning so everyone can realize the life they imagine.
