This role involves researching and identifying potential clients, building and maintaining client relationships, and working closely with the sales team to achieve growth targets. The Business Development Associate plays a key role in expanding the company's customer base and ensuring its long-term success.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies for business growth.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and leads.
  • Generate Leads, cold calling or sending emails to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Regularly follow up with existing clients to identify new opportunities and address concerns.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Provide support in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's network.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company professionally.
  • Set and achieve specific business development targets and KPIs.
  • Report on progress and outcomes to the Business Development Manager/Director.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Prepare reports on business development activities and results.
Ideal ProfileQualifications/ Requirements of the job
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 yrs work related experience in Sales
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
