We are looking for a cross-functional Automation and Document Processing Analyst to support both automation development and data ingestion efforts within our team. This role centers on executing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tasks to extract and convert data from various formats-such as PDFs, screenshots, and text files-into clean, structured formats for integration into a proprietary WTW application. In addition to OCR and data transformation, the analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath and/or Power Automate. These solutions will streamline document processing, automate repetitive workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in OCR, document processing, and UiPath development, along with a strong understanding of RPA frameworks, best practices, and scalable automation design. The Role Perform Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) tasks to extract and covert data from PDFs, screenshots, and other formats. Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows leveraging UiPath to automate document processing and OCR tasks. Implement intelligent document processing solutions including data extraction, classification, validation, and exception handling. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for document automation projects. Optimize automation processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in RPA bots and OCR pipelines. Develop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to support rapid development and deployment. Maintain documentation of design, development, and operational procedures. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in RPA, OCR, and AI-based document processing technologies. The Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of OCR technologies and intelligent document processing frameworks preferably Azure Document Intelligence. Proven experience (3+ years) in RPA development using UiPath or Power Automate Proficient in designing workflows, activities, and components in UiPath Studio and Orchestrator. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, VB.NET, or C# is a plus. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to document classification and data extraction (e.g. Azure AI Document Intelligence) Understanding of basic AI concepts and frameworks Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language. Preferred Skills: Exposure to Databricks, Streamlit, or similar platforms is a plus. Experience integrating UiPath with cloud OCR services (Azure Cognitive Services, AWS Textract, Google Cloud Vision). Understanding of enterprise IT environments, security, and compliance standards.
