POSITION SUMMARYAs an IT Support Specialist with our client, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users in resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. You will also be involved in maintaining and supporting various IT systems and tools used within the organization. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux, Mac, and Windows endpoints.
  • Support colleagues around the globe.
  • Assist users in resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Office 365 and Azure AD, including any technical onboarding/offboarding for new/former employees.
  • Manage endpoint device inventory and configuration, including deployment, shipping, and receiving as necessary.
  • Administer and support collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian products (Jira, JSM, and Confluence).
  • Administer and support IaaS, PaaS, SaaS in AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Administer and support system configuration, compliance, and updates through tools such as Microsoft Intune, Salt Stack, and Automox
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document support activities, known issues, and resolutions in the knowledge base.
  • Conduct user training and create user guides as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with IT & Security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Other, as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in providing IT support in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in managing Intune, Office 365 and Azure AD, including user administration and security settings.
  • Proficiency in managing AWS
  • Familiarity with IT service management concepts and best practices.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) would be advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
