- A supervisor’s primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between management and employees while upholding ethical work standards, by leading, guiding, and supporting the team to achieve operational goals. Key duties include hiring, onboarding, and training new employees; assigning daily tasks; monitoring performance; resolving conflicts; enforcing safety policies; and conducting performance evaluations.
- Analyze and evaluate WIP, output, yield, quality, CCT, CVP, and MCT performance to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide daily production updates and submit accurate, timely reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintains strong collaboration with co-supervisors, managers, and support teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Strictly enforces discipline to ensure compliance with safety policies (including proper PPE use) and WI procedures, safeguarding product quality and preventing non-conformance audit findings.
- Enhance personal expertise and leadership skills to grow as a technical expert and effective team leader.
- Plan, develop, and oversee work execution to drive efficient and effective operational outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area in alignment with 5S principles.
- Assesses and evaluates employee performance to drive productivity and professional growth.
- Addresses employee performance issues and resolves problems in accordance with the Code of Conduct and applicable disciplinary procedures.
- Keeps subordinates informed of all policy and procedure updates to ensure compliance and smooth workflow.
- Manage employee suggestions and complaints, and identify opportunities for commendation, rewards, and recognition programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or related field).
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or related manufacturing industry, preferably in Production or Operations.
- Proven supervisory experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency in manufacturing data analytics using SAP, Spotfire, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of RBA, CSR guidelines, or equivalent compliance standards.
- Highly diligent, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a strong learning mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (PivotTables, data analysis tools).
