Responsibilities You'll work directly with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries, gaining hands-on experience in: Preparing financial accounts and tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals Conducting GST and income tax reconciliations Managing Business Activity Statements and assisting with Division 7A, FBT, and CGT compliance Keeping up with changes in tax legislation and applying them in practical scenarios Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining clear, compliant workpapers Monitoring your own budgets and productivity with the support of senior staff Managing your WIP and deadlines while ensuring quality and accuracy in every task Qualifications A degree in Accounting (required) Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian public practice Proficiency in Xero and Xero Tax is essential Working knowledge of MYOB, QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software tools Solid grasp of tax compliance and legislation affecting individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs An ability to work independently, think critically, and manage competing priorities Willing to work at least 2 days in the office Strong English communication skills Show more Show less
