This includes developing and implementing land and nutrient management plans, monitoring and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, and ensuring the efficient and sustainable use of resources.Develop and implement land and nutrient management plans for swine farming operationsMonitor and maintain compliance with environmental and other relevant regulationsEnsure the efficient and sustainable use of resources, including water, energy, and landConduct soil and water testing to assess nutrient levels and soil health as necessaryDevelop and implement best management practices for nutrient management, including manure application, nutrient recycling, and erosion controlExplore the utilization of pig farm wastewater for irrigation and/or fertilization and oversee the safe and efficient application of wastewater and manure as organic fertilizersMonitoring the conditions of the wastewater lagoonsPlanning, assessment and monitoring of the company's internal tree planting initiatives in collaboration with the SHE and CSR Teams.Coordinate with other agencies and organizations on land and nutrient management issuesStay up-to-date on the latest research and technologies in land and nutrient managementAlignment with the SHE Team to clarify roles and responsibilities, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience:At least 3 years of experience in land and nutrient management.Background on Occupational Safety and Health is an advantageLicenses:Professional Driver's License (Class 2)Other Requirements:Good public speaking and presentation skills, written and communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationshipAbove average organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdditional InformationStay-In Set up
