The Document Controller is responsible for the efficient management, control, and distribution of all project documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements. This role ensures that accurate, up-to-date documents are available to all stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the document control system for all project files Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents Ensure correct document numbering, version control, and filing Maintain logs for drawings, submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and correspondence Control issuance and retrieval of controlled documents Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for document submissions Ensure compliance with ISO / QMS / project document control procedures Archive completed documents and manage final handover records Prepare weekly/monthly document status reports Ensure confidentiality and integrity of project information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture At least 2-3 years experience as a Document Controller in construction Knowledge of document control systems and construction workflows Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiar with ISO 9001 and QMS documentation is an advantage Strong organizational and communication skills
