The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and engagement. This role supports organizational growth by fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. The position also involves managing relationship with learning partners - internal and external facilitators, ensuring close collaboration in scheduling walkthrough of course outline & content, and actual session runs, providing logistical assistance during session as well as sharing/discussing post session feedback with the facilitators for the continuous improvement of future runs. What Are The Job Responsibilities Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training needs. Develop and deliver engaging learning programs (e.g., workshops, e-learning, coaching). Customize training content to align with business goals and to address training needs of identified participants. Track and report on training completion and facilitator's effectiveness. Share and discuss results of post-session feedback from participants for continuous improvement (if any) of training sessions. Partner with internal and external trainers, vendors, and subject matter experts. Promote learning initiatives across the organization. Ensure training programs meet regulatory and company standards. Maintain records of training and certifications using UR Learning (Learning Management System). What Are The Qualifications College graduate, any degree. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Proficiency in using LMS platforms and e-learning tools Familiarity with digital learning platforms (e.g. Udemy, Coursera) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities. Strong facilitation skills Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, managers, and employees. Data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance reports and trends and make actionable recommendations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
