Real Time Dispatch and Load Management:Real-time load of power plants to ensure compliance with WESM RTD schedule.Coordinate with power plants regarding activities affecting plant capacitiesCoordinate with NGCP regarding factors affecting the delivery of power to the grid & deviations from schedule.Coordinate with customers regarding activities affecting their demandCoordinate with PEMC on Market updates affecting the loading of power plantsCoordinate with Trading Group on changes in plant capabilitiesEnsure optimization of plant dispatch considering WESM prices, grid status, system frequency, etc.Monitor the 5-minute generation of plants during Market Suspension events to ensure that sufficient power is delivered to all GCGI/EDC customersAnticipate power needs such as those caused by changes in weather, outages of other generating plants, transmission and & distribution lines, substations, and feeders.2. Power Plant and Grid Data Management and Analysis:Record readings from CDO SCADA.Record relevant operational events/activities/communications for referencePrepares explanation and supporting documents for WESM Compliance Monitoring (MORM, OCC, DCS, and LAS) probable breaches.3. Other Functions:Initial coordination with plant operations regarding scheduled shutdowns and derations.Preparation of regular reports as required.Preparation of purchase requisitions and work orders is necessary to maintain the high reliability of the SCADA hardware system and metersMinimum Education Requirement: Graduate of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics EngineeringMinimum Qualifications: At least two (2) years) experience in power industry.Must have knowledge in system operations and power grid analysis, plant load and dispatch management, and multiparty coordination and relationship management.With working knowledge on a computer programming or scripting like MS Excel, C# and SQL.
