The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. As a Bookkeeper, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, oversee accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.This is a hybrid role, requiring 3x a week onsite at our office in Ortigas.Key Responsibilities:Maintain Financial Records: Record and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, compliance, payroll, and bank reconciliations.Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Tax Preparation: Be responsible for the preparation of tax returns and maintain tax records.Spearhead Audits: Provide schedules, documentation and reports for external audits, as needed.Compliance: Support in compliance matters in relation to the Insurance Commission and other regulatory bodies.Manage Accounts: Oversee the company's general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurately posted.Document Payroll: Ensure complete documentation of employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions in a timely manner.Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements, other assets, and card transactions regularly to ensure accounts are accurate and up-to-date.Monitor Expenses: Assist with tracking of company expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.Communication: Collaborate with other departments and senior management to resolve any financial discrepancies.Qualifications:Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.In-depth understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.Must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig for 3x a weekCPA is a plusPreferred Skills:Knowledge of payroll systems and tax preparation.Familiarity with basic financial analysis and budgeting.Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms.Join our team as we revolutionalize healthcare in the Philippines-and beyond!✨ Day 1 benefits for full-time employees - because we practice what we preach!
