About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Validation Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our contact database. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve data discrepancies. You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of our contact information, ensuring that our team has access to the most up-to-date and reliable data. Responsibilities Data Extraction and Validation: Pull lists of contact information from various sources. Validate the accuracy of each record, verifying employment status, phone numbers, titles, and email addresses. Data Cleaning and Merging: Identify and correct inconsistencies and errors in the data. Merge duplicate records, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Contact Reconciliation: Review marked contacts to identify and correct inaccuracies. This may involve contacting individuals to confirm information or researching updates through online resources. Data Reporting: Provide regular reports summarizing data quality improvements and any outstanding issues. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data validation processes and workflows. Understanding of ideal customer profile Working with multiple brands requires knowing which brand is in which market and which customer profile (title, industry, etc) is accurate for which market. Qualifications 3+ years experience in data validation and databases Proven experience in data analysis and validation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience with HubSpot and Zoominfo Bonus Points: Knowledge of data cleaning and merging techniques.
