Role description
Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working on SAP ABAP Development for HANA and actively contributing to team discussions and problem-solving.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs for HANA environment.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP EWM Implementation.
- Strong understanding of SAP development principles.
- Experience in integrating SAP modules and applications.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts.
- Ability to analyze and optimize SAP ABAP code.Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development, ideally within an SAP HANA environmentPrior involvement in SAP projects (implementation or support)Expert proficiency in SAP ABAP for HANA (e.g., CDS views, AMDP, new syntax).Solid understanding of SAP HANA database concepts.Experience performing code optimization, debugging, and performance tuning in SAP.Familiarity with SAP module integration (e.g., MM, SD, FI, etc.).Ability to conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.Exposure or experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 or OData services is an added advantage.
