- Coordinate with Value Stream Leaders, Program Managers and CFE central function for Seating in tracking and ensuring delivery of all CFE components based on identified need dates
- Track and confirm material and component delivery dates from Suppliers ahead of promised dates to support Schedule-Go and PRW process among others.
- Expedite, align and negotiate material and component delivery dates to support operations need dates. Includes approval of early shipment, deferring deliveries and canceling orders whenever necessary.
- Communicate potential risks at the earliest possible time and recommend mitigating activities to support alignment to material need date.
- Assess and process through resolution issues such as but not limited to Grief, Action Requests, invoice and stock/delivery mismatches, and defer and cancellation messages.
- Manage assigned suppliers and third-party material management supplier to align with requirements of the business
- Lead improvements to the process, perform root cause and corrective actions through Core and other tools.
- Lead discussions with Seating sites and various stakeholders on process changes required
- Represents CFE Management function in WAR, Schedule-Go, PRW and other relevant collaborative alignment meetings with other functions to support Operations build schedule and Product Quality.
- Consolidate and report out CFE management function KPIs.
- Other functions that may be assigned.
