Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Purchasing Assistant to join our centralized procurement team supporting multiple nursing home facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing of medical supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records. This role also includes basic data tracking and reporting to support purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities: Place, approve, and track supply orders for multiple nursing home and assisted living locations based on usage and inventory needs. Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. Monitor and follow up on open orders, backorders, and shipment discrepancies. Maintain organized and up-to-date purchasing records, invoices, and vendor contact information. Assist with vendor onboarding and price comparisons. Generate simple reports on purchasing activity and trends to support budgeting and planning. Collaborate with facility staff and finance team to resolve order or invoice issues. Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with purchasing or inventory systems. Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive, and detailed approach to follow-up and task management. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
