In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for shaping the visual experience of our Website and Digital platforms. Your focus will be on creating compelling, user-friendly designs that inspire and captivate our audience, including designing homepage banners, updating category imagery, developing icons, and working on wireframes.What will be your responsibilities?

Visual Design & Branding

Design at least 10 visually stunning homepage banners monthly, ensuring alignment with Kitsch’s brand guidelines.
Update category imagery monthly to maintain website freshness and align with current trends.
Develop imagery and iconography for various website sections, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI) Development

Lead the creation of wireframes and prototypes to illustrate the user journey, ensuring seamless UX/UI across all digital platforms.
Generate and optimize assets for responsive design, prioritizing a flawless mobile-first experience across all devices.
Conduct A/B tests for website designs to assess user engagement and apply insights to future projects.
Project Management & Collaboration

Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Technology to understand project requirements and timelines.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, especially during peak seasons like Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
Stay current with UI/UX trends and integrate best practices into the design process.

What are we looking for in you?

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Experience

4+ years of experience in Graphic Design, with a focus on Web Design and UX/UI.
Experience in E-Commerce (Shopify).
Preferred: Experience in the Beauty Industry.
Required Skills

Web Design: Expertise in designing and optimizing layouts, imagery, and other web elements to create a cohesive and engaging user experience across all devices, with a strong emphasis on responsive and mobile-first design.
UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of user interface and user experience principles, with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that enhance the overall usability of digital platforms.
Figma: Extensive experience using Figma for designing layouts, wireframes, and collaborative design tasks.
Adobe Creative Suite: For image editing, retouching, and optimization of website assets.
Experience with A/B Testing and a strong understanding of user engagement metrics.
Strong eye for Customer-Focused Visuals.
Ability to clearly brief and communicate with Web Developers.
Desired Skills

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for Web Design.
Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with a passion for design excellence.
Highly organized, possessing strong time management and project prioritization skills.
Dynamic self-starter.
Creative.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
