Supply Planning Lead (Workforce)

The Supply Planning Lead will spearhead the Supply Planning team responsible for workforce allocation and capacity management across multiple programs/accounts. This role ensures the right number of resources are assigned at the right time to meet operational demands, factoring in planned and unplanned absenteeism, productivity trends, and forecasted requirements. As both a strategic planner and people leader , the manager balances hands-on workforce management expertise with the coaching, development, and performance management of Supply Planning Specialists/Analysts. Workforce and Capacity Planning Lead tracking and support of the allocation of work, auditing and administration of supply and physical capacity across complex operations. Monitor capacity utilization, identify gaps, and recommend adjustments to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Partner with Operations to understand staffing requirements and ensure optimal full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage. Track and record allocation of programs across footprint ensuring end-to-end system coordination. Provide timely responses to supply inquiries and proactively create opportunities for capacity creation. Strategic Planning and Process Improvement Develop short-term and long-term supply planning strategies aligned with business growth and operational efficiency. Analyze trends in absenteeism and create mitigation strategies. Maintain processes to promote responsible utilization of our footprint. Lead the implementation of data-driven strategies balancing the priorities and timelines of multiple business units. Build and maintain tools to enable allocation of projected demand, supply and other factors influencing utilization of capacity and physical footprint and requirements and provide feedback, support, and suggestions to clients on optimization opportunities. People Management Lead, coach, and develop Supply Planning Specialists/Analysts to deliver accurate, timely workforce plans. Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct reviews. Build a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting Coordinate with client to plan potential new buildouts. Act as the primary contact for capacity and resource allocation discussions with account/program leaders. Prepare and present workforce planning reports and recommendations to senior leadership. Proactively escalate risks to capacity plans and propose corrective actions.
