Medical Operations Specialist - Nurse

• Staff emergency and general access telephone lines in our operations center
• Respond to member health events and member/potential member inquiries via telephone and email;

• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries
• Enroll, renew and upgrade retail customers, processing credit card and other payment information
• Effectively describe the nature and scope of Global Rescue services
• Manage and coordinate logistics for field rescues from remote locations and patient transfers to/from hospitals (includes air, ground, sea, etc.)
• Follow, maintain and improve protocol, process and quality standards for patient response and transport
• Execute assigned non-operational general office tasks with diligence and precision

• Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Medical hotline experience preferred
• College degree
• Must be well-spoken and well-written
• Basic computer skills required
• Highly energetic and motivated to succeed
• Mission focused orientation, interest in “doing whatever it takes” to help those in need
• Attention to detail and follow-through
• Efficient time management and organizational skills
