- Accurately processing and monitoring key accounts and finance functions in a timely manner.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Accruals, and Rent Expense.
- Managing the Lease Register.
- Preparing GST & BAS (Australia).
- Conducting accounting reviews for invoices and expense claims.
- Executing Accounts Payable (A/P) and supplier reconciliations and analyses as required.
- Assisting with month-end accounting journals and reconciliations.
- Supporting monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Participating in project teams as needed, with tasks depending on the objectives and nature of the project aligned with your current skill set and capabilities.
- Completing other general accounting duties as requested by the Financial Controller.
- CPA preferred, or at least preparing for the board licensure.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a medium to large-sized business.
- A sound knowledge of general accounting principles.
- High degree of computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related business area.
- Experience with Great Plains Dynamics/Workday Finance is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with an ERP system.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work to meet deadlines.
- Capable of working with minimum supervision.
