Ability to read structural, mechanical, and architectural drawings and specifications. Familiarity with National BIM Standards (NBIMS) and National CAD Standards. Assisting in modeling MEPF scopes of work based on construction documents, specifications, product submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings. Assisting in modeling content from design through construction. Assisting in preparing models to be used for shop drawings, model-based layout, AR/VR, and integration with laser scans. Assisting in the management and coordination of Architectural, MEPTF, structural, civil, specialty, and site components of the model. Possessing a working knowledge or willingness to learn how to utilize reality capture data for model creation/update. This includes laser scanning, sUAS, and terrestrial photogrammetry, and LiDAR. Identifying constructability issues, missing information, and notifying the project team of these issues and RFIs that need to be written. Utilizing BIM 360, BIM Track, ProjectSight, and/or other project-specific information management systems.
