- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (medical allied courses). Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
- 2 years IP Medical Coding Experience
- Reviewing a patient's medical records after a visit from the Hospital
- Encodes the chart to process claims from patients
- Identify missing information and provide resolution
- Submit forms to insurers for reimbursement.
