The client is a Canberra-based commercial kitchen sheet metal fabrication company. They design, fabricate, and install custom stainless steel benchwork, frames, and kitchen equipment for commercial projects. They are seeking a SolidWorks Draftsperson to provide 3D modelling and fabrication-ready drawings based on plans and information supplied by the team.Scope of work:3D and 2D modelling and detailing of commercial kitchen benchwork, framing, and sheet metal componentsProduce manufacturing-ready drawings suitable for workshop fabricationWork from plans, client specifications, sketches, and mark-ups providedSoftware and file deliverables:SolidWorks native files: SLDPRT (Part), SLDASM (Assembly), SLDDRW (Drawing)Export files as required: DXF, DFT, DWG for CNC or laser cuttingRevit experience (RVT floor plans) is desirable but not requiredDrawing structure and standards:Follow ACT Stainless Steel drawing templates and internal standardsApproval / Client pages including overall description, key dimensions, layout, notes, and finishes Fabrication drawings showing framing details, material specifications, cut lengths, assembly, and welding informationSheet metal flat patterns with correct bend lines, fold directions, and material thickness, ready for CNC fabricationTurnaround expectations:Turnaround varies depending on project size and complexitySmall items may require quick turnaroundLarger kitchen packages will have longer drafting timeframesPriorities will be communicated by the teamWorkload and engagement:Steady drafting work throughout the yearOccasional slower periods between installation phasesLong-term engagement preferred with consistent availabilityReview and approval process:Initial drawings will be reviewed internallyFeedback and mark-ups will be providedAccuracy, clarity, and consistency are criticalClose collaboration required to align with standardsIdeal candidate:Strong experience in SolidWorks sheet metal and weldment modellingProven experience producing kitchen sheet metal fabrication-ready drawingsExperience in Revit floor plan drafting is an advantageComfortable working from supplied plans and mark-upsReliable, responsive, and able to communicate effectivelyWilling to follow company-specific drafting standardsFluent in EnglishWe are looking for someone who is comfortable in working onsite in Robinsons Cyberscape Gamma Ortigas, Pasig City within 4:30 AM to 1:30 PM Manila Time or 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM Manila Time shift
