
Entity Accountant

- Understand Group’s accounting policies as well as Local statutory, accounting and tax requirement
- Increase the accuracy of the financial information by ensuring data has been correctly booked and take corrective actions if required
- Ensure auditable track of reconciled accounts on the balance sheet including working with Share Service team for clearing aged data, including ensuring timely certification in Blackline Account Reconciliation at entity level
- Ensure reconciliation between tax / local GAAP/ group reporting accounts
- Involve in the end to end activities for the entities in charge
- Lead audit/internal Control missions which aim at:
- Assessing the level of Internal Control within Schneider Electric
- Performing root causes analysis with operational people and through workshops,
- Identifying areas where Schneider Electric's performance can be improved,
- Measuring how operational risks are mitigated,
- Sharing, proposing good practices and added value recommendations
- Checking the implementation of recommended action plans decided after the audits,
- Giving regular feedback to the team manager.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. Strong understanding of Internal controls and policies
- Knowledge in ERP/Accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle (preferred)
- Work experience in an auditing firm and shared services/multinational company
- With strong analytical skills and experience in handling Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Financial Statement reporting
- Willing to work in BGC Taguig or EPZA Rosario Cavite on a hybrid setup.
