Purpose of the Position This role makes use of technical and financial skills to track and manage patient cash flows, credit, and insurance payments, while also assisting reception staff with patient booking and in-clinic coordination. Duties and Responsibilities A. Technical Efficiency 1. Handles cash, credit or check transactions with customers 2. Ensures pricing is correct 3. Issue change, receipts, charge slips or refunds 4. Manages up-to-date clinic income records by sending and receiving bank checks and documenting all relevant transactions 5. Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change 6. Ensures compliance with the guidelines and policies of Cash Management to minimize audit findings B. Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Facilitation 1. Facilitates Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) approvals C. Customer Relations 1. Assists in managing customer queries D. Administrative Efficiency 1. Submits dally and weekly Census 2. Creates daily, weekly, and monthly reports from clinic financial data 3. Prepares required reports 4. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time Job Specification A. Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or any related courses B. Experience: Preferably at least 1-6 months related work experience in Clinical Settings C.
