Our brand, , a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with one of our global clients in their search for a Java API SpringBoot Lead based in Makati.Salary: ₱130,000Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 Days WFH, 2 Days OnsiteShift Schedule: Night ShiftLocation: Makati CityThe Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Spring Boot Lead to oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs. This role combines hands-on coding expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of developers while collaborating with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.Your Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and deployment of APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for API development.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Java developers.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.Ensure APIs are well-documented, reusable, and meet integration standards.Oversee code reviews, technical design sessions, and troubleshooting activities.Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the API ecosystem.What We're Looking For:

Must have Technical and/or Team Leadership experience

Must possess at least 5 years of Core Java - Someone who can develop from scratch / knows the basics of in-depth development

Must be knowledgable in Spring Framework and/or SpringBoot

Must be knowledgable in Rest API/ GraphQL

Must be knowledgable in Microservices Architecture

Must be knowledgable in Kafka / Any Messaging

Must be knowledgable in SQL
