About the Company FutureNet and Technology Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom in the Philippines, is committed to providing innovative solutions in the telecommunications sector. About the Role The Legal Executive (Assistant) will report to the line manager and provide support to the company's legal team, coordinating local legal and corporate administrative matters on an ongoing basis. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and legal and business acumen. Responsibilities Provide administrative and secretarial support regarding contract & file management, business & corporate certificate/license management and other daily clerical works; Assist in preparation and execution of contracts, legal and corporate documents, internal reports and memos under the guidance of senior members of the team; Liaise and work closely with cross-region and cross-function stakeholders throughout the company (affiliate companies and its major telecom customer & business partner, DITO) for assistance regarding legal and regulatory compliance issues; Assist in the research on laws and regulations concerning legal and regulatory matters and prepares appropriate memoranda; Be proactive in communicating with the legal team, work closely and amicably with other supporting staff and allocate works with them; Assist in handling other ad-hoc assignments. Qualifications A junior candidate with an undergraduate degree or above, preferably in law (for postgraduate degree(s)), political science or legal management majors. Experience working as a paralegal or in providing administrative support in legal and/or corporate secretarial area including contract & file management is preferred. Eager to learn, highly-organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Proven ability to work under pressure, on multiple assignments, with strong attention to details. Willing to take frequent, ad hoc instructions and work delegations from seniors; Proficiency in written and spoken English, skills in written and/or spoken Mandarin Chinese are preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Good communication and interpersonal skills. *This position is based in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines, and requires regular on-site work during standard working days. The employment contract will be signed with FutureNet and Technology Corp , a wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom in the Philippines.
