- Process Monitoring: Regularly assess the quality of loan processing workflows, from application submission through approval to disbursement, ensuring all steps are executed accurately and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Compliance Checks: Ensure that all loan documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and internal policy standards. Monitor the adherence to federal and state lending regulations, such as fair lending laws and privacy regulations.
- Audit and Review: Conduct periodic audits of loan files, documentation, and processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify potential errors, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.
- Report Generation: Compile and present quality assurance reports detailing performance metrics, error rates, and compliance issues. Present findings to management and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other operational staff to identify and resolve process inefficiencies, improve customer service, and ensure accurate loan processing.
- Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to staff regarding quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices for loan processing. Offer continuous support for improvement in daily activities.
- Customer Service Feedback: Analyze customer complaints, feedback, and performance data to identify recurring issues and propose solutions for process enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and help implement improvements to the loan processing system and other workflows to increase accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with lending processes and work to mitigate them by ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to internal and external guidelines.
