The team is under the Travel & Expense Team of Global Finance of the Vestas Shared Services Centre. As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible for providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Travel & Expenses. Proactively works with Regional Finance, Treasury, and other SSC functional areas to ensure issues and concerns are addressed positively and in accordance with prescribed deadlines.The position is mainly responsible for ensuring that Travel & Expenses are timely and accurately processed and cleared for Mandarin-speaking entities. This role will require close working relationships with various regional and local finance teams, lines of business, and Vestas employees to ensure optimal resolutions of issues.Finance SSC
Global Travel Expense
Global Travel and Expense ASP and CHIResponsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of the end-to-end process of the Travel and Expense process to efficiently close items and properly address issues as they may arise. Primarily coming from Mandarin-speaking
Adherence, performance, and documentation of related Controls (if any) and ensure that these are being done with utmost quality at a prescribed timing
Perform accrual accounting and other month-end activities (as necessary) ensuring data integrity
Participate in further improvement and optimization of Travel and Expense processes, procedures in Finance and Accounting
Execute Travel and Expense processing fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
Proactively engage and collaborate with Regional Finance, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and other business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Handle higher-level concerns, and complex tasks such as detailed reporting, data presentation, and analysis
Prepares daily and monthly reports and accompanying schedules and specifications
Performed analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned
Assists in developing training plans and knowledge sharing with team members

Qualifications

BS Accountancy or a graduate of any business course
Able to read/write/converse in Mandarin
Preferably with experience in Travel & Expense process and Reporting
Preferably with SAP Concur experience
With at least 6 months to 2 years of working experience in the same field
With BPO/Shared Service experience

Competencies

Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience in the end-to-end AP process
Analytical and comprehensive problem-solving skills
Exposure to ERP platforms - SAP preferred
Adept in data presentation and analysis
Effective communication skills - able to interact with multiple stakeholders both internal and external
Willingness to learn different systems and take on other tasks as may be assigned
A keen sense of timeliness and the readiness to take action when required
Positive attitude and exemplary self-leadership skills
Good multi-tasking capabilities; able to work in a target-oriented and busy environment
Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel
Flexibility and willingness to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as may be assigned
Independent and can work with minimal supervision
Shows a conscientious and cooperative mindset
Showcases professionalism and is willing to become a role model to the more junior staff
