To be assigned in BCDA through manpower service provider DBPSC Under Property and Procurement Management Department - General Services Division Job Level 10 - P80,626.20/mo Qualification Standards: Education: Graduate of Engineering or any 4-year related course; Experience: at least two (2) years experience in OSH function ; at least one (1) year of supervisory experience Training: Completed Mandatory forty (40)-hour Basic OSH training Completed the additional 48 hours of Advanced/Specialized OSH training In-depth knowledge of OSH legislation and procedures Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety program Outstanding in organizational skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics Duties and Tasks: Serve as the Secretary to the OSH Committee, and as such, he/she shall notify members of the meetings, prepare minutes of the meeting, and submit to the head of the agency a report of the activities of the Committee including the recommendations thereof. Develop the BCDA OSH policies and standards in accordance with CSC-DOH-DOLE JMC No. 1 s. 2020; Plan and develop health-related training/seminars for the furtherance of promotion and accident prevention programs in the workplace; Initiate and implement improvement of working conditions relative to a safe and healthy working environment; Ensure the agency's health promotion and accident prevention efforts in compliance with the government safety programs to maintain healthy work habits and safety practices in the workplace; Conduct periodic safety meetings and/or investigations on occupational accidents, injuries, illnesses and/or death; Submit reports activities to Management as necessary; Review reports of inspection, accident investigations and implementation of programs; Provide the support needed for government inspection authorities in properly conducting the said activities; Initiate safety training on OSH for the agency by coordinating with appropriate training institutions; Develop and maintain contingency plans and provide training/seminars in handling disaster situations; and Submit an annual work plan and budget needed to support the OSH programs for the approval of Management.
