Civil Design Engineer - Senior/Principal (Roads)

- Lead the complete civil engineering design requirements of assigned projects.
- Coordinate across disciplines and work closely with team leads or project managers.
- Oversee planning, analysis, design, and production of engineering drawings.
- May act as Project Manager or Task Leader for specific projects.
- Mentor and guide junior civil engineers in the team.
- Stay updated on new developments and methodologies relevant to the field.
- Adhere to prescribed design standards and quality procedures.
- Contribute to group objectives and comply with company policies.
- Participate in staff performance evaluations as required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned in line with expertise and qualifications.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in geometric design of highways using Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads, MXRoads, or similar software.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Solid knowledge of road and civil design standards, including international and local authority requirements.
- Familiarity with safety-in-design practices, particularly road safety outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
