Description: Depending on specific work assignment (Bookkeeping, Treasury, Payroll, etc.) and applying knowledge of accounting terminologies and using spreadsheets and/or automated accounting systems, processes and reconciles a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, time and attendance records and journal vouchers reviews and encodes financial information prepares and processes documents to disburse funds, makes deposits, performs bank reconciliation and prepare reports compiles and reviews information for accuracy maintains financial files, records, reports and general ledgers, prepares and analyzes budgets, performs general bookkeeping and handles billing activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. Duties and Responsibilities: Qualifications: Two (2) years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to an Accounting Asst. I, involving posting financial data to ledgers, preparing invoices, billings and/or vouchers, reviewing and coding financial information, and maintaining account balances. Three (3) years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to an Accounting Asst. II, involving posting financial data to ledgers, preparing invoices, billings and/or vouchers, reviewing and coding financial information, and maintaining account balances.
